Honesty, Patience, Understanding & Tolerance

In my humble, seemingly "silly" opinion, fully integrated honesty, patience, understanding and tolerance is the only way to live sanely and realistically in this world. Any sort of extremism or active fear does not work. Sure, we can imbalance ourselves, "draw lines of 'reality'in the sand" and look at things with genuine prejudice, but to our own destructive ends, especially ourselves. Balanced thinking, action and understanding is the key with intellectual and spiritual leverage of consciousness over ourselves that embraces courage over fear, active understanding instead of blindly and too quickly acting (often erroneously). When I was watching the "storming of the U.S. Capitol" and the so-called "overthrow of the government" on January 6th, 2021, I thought of writing this article on the genuine need for honesty, patience, understanding and tolerance.

 These are not just words also, I live this, and I will say this without flinching: For me, it is consciousness above all and responsibility, genuinely hard-earned, gained knowledge and understanding with that. It is not just, take action for the sake of action in life. Indeed, there are times we all feel anger, "lash-out syndrome" or whatever. 

I am simply here to say to you and me: Think before acting, and when acting, act with total responsibility, understanding and consciousness. These may not be entirely comfortable words to read, nor do I intend them to be: My words are honestly meant, clearly thought out and from my genuine heart to yours though. I know and understand that is not enough for some people. That some will beat their drum in the dark angry just to wake up people without thinking about the consequences. But, I will just be that little voice here that says "think deeply about what you are doing and the consequences there and of." That is it. To end on a very personal note, although this whole article is rather personal: I will end with the words my Dad Joe used to use when describing my type of thinking and the way he approached life also: I do not play. Sure, I have a sense of loyalty, compassion, fun, humor and love, but I do not play, I am serious with intellectual and spiritual leverage consciousness in that sense in all things in existence and life. 

Indeed, in the end, blind fear, bigotry and blind prejudice is the ultimate weakness and the ultimate foolish and unrealistic shot in the dark. Reality encompasses everything? Understand reality fully, then make your genuine judgement of reality.
