UPDATE ON LEVEL 400 ACADEMIC YEAR FEES

Persuant to the letter from GTEC which directed Management of the Colleges of Education to refund 60% of the feeding grant for which students were not fed due to the blended Education system ( online and face to face lectures), the SRC wrote a proposal to management to deduct the 60% of the feeding grant due the students from the academic year fees.

The SRC met College management today regarding the fees. Upon the SRC's engagement with Management, it was agreed that the 60% of the feeding grant will be deducted from the level 400 academic year fees. Per the calculations 60% of the feeding grant amounted to GH470.40. Also, the level 400 academic year fees is GH1,023.86 ( GH998.86 + GH25 , matress fee ). Therefore, if 60% of the feeding grant is deducted from the level 400 fees, the amount left for level 400 students to pay as academic year fees is GH553.46. This implies that students who have no outstanding payables are to pay GH553.46.

However, students who have outstanding payables will pay GH533.46 in addition to their outstanding fees. NOTE : LEVEL 400 French Students are to pay GHC130 ( cost of COVID-19 test incurred due to Togo Trip) in addition to the GH553.46 Thus, GHC 683.46 SUMMARY

LEVEL 400 FEES: GHC 998.86 MATTRESS FEE FOR SECOND SEMESTER GHC 25.00 TOTAL FEE: GHC 1023.86 FEEDING COMPONENT REFUND: 470.40 Therefore, 1023.86 - 470.40 = 553.46 Fee payable for Level 400 Academic year is 553.46
 Covid test for French students: GHC 130 553.46 + 130 = 683.46.
