        DEFINITION OF CONCEPTS 
 Religious Education refers to the teaching of a particular religion and its varied components such as its beliefs, doctrines, rituals, customs and personal roles (Thomas, 1991). 
It also involves understanding of beliefs, values and practices of the major world religions. This aim of Religious Education was to encourage learners to develop understanding of, and respect for people of different religions or faiths. Religious Education aims at personal understanding, conviction and commitment. Ellias (1975) contends that religious education must explore the social, political, historic and cultural dimension of humans. Religious education attempts to educate people to have a religious view of life. 
 MORAL EDUCATION
 Moral liducation involves a study based on morality. It is defined as what society does to introduce the young ones to its values, and to teach them its morality (Ryan, 1991). It is the process whereby a person develops responsible attitudes towards others and the skill of moral judgement about what is right and wrong. 
Through Moral Education, students learn to appreciate common values such as honesty, liberty, justice, fairness and respect for others which are cherished in society. 
 Moral Education may be taught without necessarily using Religion.
 For example, in 1962, Dr. Nkrumah, the President of the Republic of Ghana wanted to use the philosophy of Nkrumaism for in in Ghana using the Young Pioneer Movement. The title suggested....
